On the other hand, Denton Gardens debuted in 1924. The Marine Gardens were started in 1930. On a melancholy note, a War Memorial was built in 1921. In addition, Worthing saw the construction of its first municipal homes in the 1920s and 1930s. Worthing built a new Town Hall in 1933. In 1933, novelist Maureen Duffy was born in Worthing.
But in Worthing, air raids during the Second World War resulted in the deaths of 44 people and the destruction of 97 dwellings.

Wrexham established a grammar school in 1603. Wool was also woven and fulled in Wrexham in the 17th century. The wool was cleaned and thickened after weaving by pounding it in a clay and water combination. This was referred to as fulling. The wool was coloured after it had dried.

A civil war broke out between the monarch and parliament in 1642. In the town of Wrexham, there was no actual combat. The royalists initially controlled all of Wales, but on November 9, 1643, a parliamentary force seized Wrexham. There was no opposition.
